Prayer Targets

When you start in your PRAYER LIFE, it helps to keep a PRAYER JOURNAL. In the military, we kept a small "field notebook" on us to jot down pertinent intel during operations. Here's a quick guide & note taking system to get you started on your prayer life in your prayer journal.

Identify your PRAYER TARGETS by utilizing a specific, personal, ongoing prayer list with one or more of the following questions:
What are my_?

• 3 Major Right Now Needs (RNN)
• 3 Most Stressed Needs (MSN)
• 3 Life Issues in need of a G*d Miracle (LIM) 

What is/are_?

• A Good & Honorable Benefit for you, family, or others from G*d's provision (GHB) [see Lord's Prayer]
• A Leading from G*d that needs His Clarity & Direction (LCD)
• Other Peoples Needs that you can pray for (OPN)

Use the prayer guides on this blog to aid you in identifying your needs!

After identifying your PRAYER TARGETS you are now ready to start a prayer notebook, diary, or journal to focus & track your prayer life. Keep a small notepad or booklet (or cell phone) in your pocket to jot down your thoughts of prayer needs & to be ready at all times. Also make a habit of keeping a record of Answers (to prayer), Praises (to G*d), & Revelations (from G*d) (APR). With this TARGETING & TRACKING SYSTEM you can keep a lookout & be witness to G*d showing up, answering prayers, working miracles, & building your FAITH!

• GHB = Good Honorable Benefit
• LCD = Leading Clarity Direction

Whenever you feel or encounter a PRAYER TARGET, use the abbreviations above to mark & make your notes. Example: 

RNN job, vehicle repair, peace

MSN finances, children, school
LIM debt cancellation, parent illness
OPN Thomas' doubt

Prayer is one of the most important aspects of a Christian's daily walk with G*d. JESUS set the example as He prayed daily to the Father (Yahweh). As it is in G*d's Word ",that men always ought to pray & not lose heart,..." Lk 18:1 so shall we follow JESUS in praying always.

7 Fold Way to Pray

Do you still have questions of "how to pray" or "how should I be praying" after all the sermons & lessons from church pastors, elders, or teachers. In my earlier walk with G*d I did find myself wondering & asking those very questions.

A lot of books & material over the history of the Christian faith have covered "Prayer". Most of this material is very overwhelming & made complicated by academics (pssst Theologians ;] )! Here is what G*d's Word says in the scriptures in 7 simple steps.

7 fold way to PRAY:

1. Pray to the FATHER (Yahweh). John 16:23
2. In the name of JESUS. John 14:12-15
3. By the HOLY SPIRIT. Romans 8:26
4. With FULL UNDERSTANDING of rights & privileges. 1Corinthians 14:14-15
5. In HARMONY with the WORD. John 15:7
6. In FAITH, nothing doubting. James 1:6
7. With PRAISE for the ANSWER! Philippians 4:6

Let me make a suggestion, if you do not have a Bible, or if you just have a regular Bible ( a non-study type Bible), & you are interested in or looking for a good "study Bible". The Spiritual Warfare Bible Military English Version (MEV) is an excellent prayer Bible. In my humble opinion, every Christian should have this Bible at the ready!

Rules of the Christian Life

Rules of the Christian life:

1. Let love be WITHOUT hypocrisy!
2. HATE what is EVIL.

6. Do not be lazy in DILIGENCE.

9. REJOICE in HOPE.
10. Be PATIENT in suffering.
11. PERSEVERE in PRAYER!
12. CONTRIBUTE to the needs of the Saints.
13. Practice HOSPITALITY.
14. BLESS those who persecute you.
15. BLESS & do not curse.
16. REJOICE WITH those who rejoice.
17. WEEP WITH those who weep.
18. Be of the SAME MIND toward one another.
19. Do NOT be HAUGHTY.
20. ASSOCIATE with the LOWLY.
21. Do NOT PRETEND to be WISER than you are.
22. REPAY NO one EVIL for evil.
23. COMMEND what is HONEST in the sight of all men.
24. LIVE PEACEABLY with ALL MEN as much as possible.
25. Do NOT AVENGE yourselves, GIVE PLACE to G*D's WRATH.
26. Do not be overcome by evil, OVERCOME EVIL with GOOD!

Lord's Prayer

“Our Father who is in heaven,hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come,Your Will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, for we forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name, 

Worship the names of G*d, corresponding with the benefits in the New Covenant, & make your faith declarations:

Pray for:

1. Nation, State, County/Parish, & City 
2. Church
3. Pastors
4. Group leaders
5. Members
6. Vision of your church
7. the Lost
8. Your Family
9. Yourself

Give us this day our daily bread.

1. Offer your requests to G*d
2. Ask G*d to bless every area of your life 

And forgive us our sins, just as we forgive those who sin against us. 

1. Forgive and release others
2. Ask G*d to forgive you 
3. Set your heart & will to forgive those who sin against you 

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Pray for G*d's protection in all areas of your life. Put on the whole Armor of G*d:

1. Helmet of Salvation
2. Breastplate of Righteousness
3. Belt of Truth
4. Shoes of the Gospel of Peace
5. Shield of Faith
6. Sword of the Spirit (Living Word of G*d; Scripture) 

For Yours is the kingdom & the power & the glory forever. Amen.

1. Make your faith declarations
2. Return to praise & worship 

Immediately after praying the Lord's Prayer & it guiding you in your own personal prayers; read & recite Psalm 23 as a personal prayer. Watch as your life transforms in the days to come!

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Amen. Ps 23:1-6 (MEV)

G.P.S.

G.P.S. is a navigational & guidance system. In the world, it was developed by men for military use. Now, every person worldwide has access to it with a cellular phone. It is a space based navigational system that provides:

• detailed coordinates
• current location &/or position
• global mapping with tracking
• compass with route &/or routing & direction
• distance & elevation
• atmospheric info
• communications with an emergency beacon

All of these G.P.S. functionalities listed are not original at all. What? Not original? No, not any of it. Explain!

G*d, Prayer, & Scripture (G.P.S.) are the original navigational & guidance system to this world & our life here on Earth! G*d has given us all of these functions through prayer & reading His scriptures (His living Word), the Holy Bible. We must go to G*d, Prayer, & Scripture daily where G*d provides us:

• Details of our place in this world & life regarding G*d's Will
• Our current location & position of our self within G*d's Kingdom; talents,gifts, & callings
• A map to go by as the Holy Spirit gives us revelation, inspiration, & conviction
• A compass as the Holy Spirit guides us in the direction of G*d's Will for our life
• A scope as the Holy Spirit leads us as far & as high as we can go with G*d
• A barometer as the Holy Spirit, Jesus, & G*d's angels reveal to us the spiritual atmosphere around us; Spiritual Warfare
• Prayer is our direct communication with G*d daily & in emergencies

G*d is the ONLY navigation & guidance for our life here on Earth! How do we do this? Easy!

With G*d:

• is our Saviour
• we must accept Him
• gives us salvation & redemption
• we honor Him

With Prayer:

• is Communication
• we talk to Him
• gives us revelation & inspiration
• we have relationship with Him

With Scripture:

• is His living Word
• we read His Word daily
• gives us guidance & answers
• we know His heart & mind

I encourage each of you today to get a Bible, read it daily, begin to pray daily, & to seek out a Bible believing church of beleivers to fellowship with & to live & walk in faith with you.

The Race of Hate

For too long now, has the truth been silenced and perverted. For too long now have we as a nation been lied to and purposefully lead astray from the truth! What is the truth? As for me, the truth... well the Truth is JESUS! "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 15:6. What you are about to read is not very popular with my fellow Christians. And IF my fellow Christians are honest with themselves, they will find it hard to disagree with what you are about to read!

 As Christians, Jesus calls us to this, "You shall love the Lord your G*d with all your heart,with all your soul, & with all your mind. This is the first & great commandment. And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' On these two commandments hang ALL the Law & the Prophets." Matthew 22:36-40. We are to love each other as we love our own selves! Jesus actually quoted His Father from Leviticus 19:18 in His statement. "You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord." Leviticus 19:18.

So what is not so popular with Christians that you are reading? It is not what you ARE reading but rather what you are NOT reading. This is what you are not reading:

• You shall love your BLACK neighbor as yourself
• You shall love your LATINO neighbor as yourself
• You shall love your ASIAN neighbor as yourself
• You shall love your WHITE neighbor as yourself
• You shall love your GAY neighbor as yourself
• You shall love your STRAIGHT neighbor as yourself
• You shall love your MALE neighbor as yourself
• You shall love your FEMALE neighbor as yourself
• You shall love your MUSLIM neighbor as yourself
• You shall love your OTHER RELIGIOUS neighbor as yourself
• You shall love your CHRISTIAN neighbor as yourself
• You shall love your DIFFERENT neighbor as yourself

Jesus did not say any of that! Jesus says to us "You shall love your neighbor as your self", absent of color, race, gender, sexuality, belief, religion or faith. So, the only question is "who is my neighbor?"

Neighbor defined by Merriam Webster is 1: one living or located near another; & 2: fellow man. Now read what Jesus says with this definition: You shall love your FELLOW MAN NEXT TO YOU as yourself. And in case you are one of the hyper-vigilant debaters, "man" here means human, mankind. But did you know that Jesus defined neighbor in the Word of God?

Jesus gives us His meaning of "neighbor" & defines "neighbor" as this: "But he, desiring to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” Jesus answered, “A man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing and wounded him and departed, leaving him half dead. By chance a priest came down that way. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. So likewise a Levite, when he came to that place, looked at him and passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion on him, and went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine. Then he set him on his own donkey and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. The next day when he departed, he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper and said to him, ‘Take care of him. I will repay you whatever else you spend when I return.’ “Now which of these three do you think was a neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?” He said, “The one who showed mercy on him.” Luke 10:29-37 That's right the Good Samaritan is Jesus's definition of a "neighbor".

Let me take you a step further in Jesus's command to us. What is love & how are we to love our neighbor? There are actually different types of love, & so we have different definitions & meanings of love. However, here in Jesus's command, love is defined, as well, by Him in God's Word as this: "Anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love" 1 John 4:8; and again " God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him" 1 John 4:16. Confused? Follow me for a second. Christians believe in the Trinity of God, meaning God, Jesus, & the Holy Spirit are one in the same as it is written in God's Word. And Christians hold the Bible, God's Word, as infallible. With this we can say that God is Jesus, & Jesus is Love.

Jesus is Love & He defines His love as this: "This is My commandment: that you love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love has no man than this: that a man lay down his life for his friends." John 15:12-13. This is where we lose the majority of "Christians" in our calling in Jesus. Let us now read Jesus's call to us "Christians" as this; You shall LAY DOWN YOUR LIFE FOR your FELLOW MAN NEXT TO YOU as JESUS LIVES IN yourself! You read that correctly. This is where we lose not just the majority of Christians but a lot of today's society.

Jesus calls us to love & be willing to DIE for White, Black, Latino, Asian, Arab, Indian, Rich, Poor, Homeless, Straight, Gay, Bisexual, Male, Female, Transgender, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu, Buddhist, Atheist & Yes even Satanist! We are to be willing to DIE for ALL MANKIND. Here in our country how often do we as Christians walk into our churches where it is either a White church, an African-American church, a Latino church, a Baptist church, a Pentecostal church, a Catholic church, or a church where a homeless or a Gay even Transgender person feels welcome in their search for the Truth. Jesus does not pick & choose in His calling to the world, "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." John 3:17.

So now I ask you my fellow Christians & all those who seek the Truth. Are YOU willing to LAY DOWN YOUR LIFE for your FELLOW MAN NEXT TO YOU no matter what?

For too long has so called "Reverends, Christian Leaders & Officials, & Special Interest Organizations" perverted the Truth in attempt to silence the Truth, JESUS! It is these people who manipulate God's Word to fit their "narrative", a lie, that is not in any fact or truth, let alone the Truth that IS JESUS. These are the people who cannot face the truth & hate the truth; they hate Jesus & ALL who answer Jesus's call. They ARE, the RACE of HATE!

Million Dollar Question

The million dollar question is this: Will YOU go to HEAVEN when YOU DIE?

Here is a quick TEST! Have YOU EVER...

1. told a LIE?
2. STOLEN anything?
3. or USED G*d's name in vain?
4. looked WITH LUST?

JESUS said, "Whoever looks at a woman (or man) TO LUST FOR HER (or him) has already COMMITTED ADULTERY WITH HER (or him) in his (or her) heart."  Will YOU be GUILTY on Judgement Day?

If YOU HAVE done those things, G*d SEES YOU AS a LYING, THIEVING, BLASPHEMOUS, ADULTERER at heart! The Bible warns that if YOU are GUILTY, YOU WILL end up IN HELL. That IS NOT G*d's WILL!

G*d sent His Son, JESUS, to suffer & DIE on the cross FOR YOU. You BROKE G*d's Law, but JESUS PAID your FINE! That means He can LEGALLY DISMISS your CASE. He CAN COMMUTE your DEATH SENTENCE!

"For G*d so LOVED the world (YOU & I) that He gave His ONLY begotten Son, that WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM (JESUS) should NOT PERISH but HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. For G*d DID NOT send His Son into the world to CONDEMN the world, but that the world (YOU & I) THROUGH HIM might BE SAVED." Then He, JESUS, ROSE from the dead & DEFEATED DEATH!

Please REPENT (turn away from SIN) TODAY & TRUST ALONE in JESUS & G*d WILL grant YOU the GIFT of EVERLASTING LIFE! Then read your Bible daily and obey G*d's Word, JESUS.
